Personal data

Vincent Lagache EI is responsible for the personal data processed on Before Invest, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect

• • Account: email address, first and last name. If you sign in with Google, the basic profile Google shares (name and email).
• • Subscription: Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, and your subscription status. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
• • Technical data: IP address and browser information, in server logs and error reports.
• • Bug reports: when you use the "Report a bug" button, your message, email, name and, if you choose, a screenshot.

Why

To run your account and subscription, keep the service secure and working, and answer your bug reports. Your data is never sold and never used for advertising.

Who processes it for us

We rely on a few providers to run the service: payment processing (Stripe), hosting and email (AWS, Hetzner), sign-in (Google, optional), error tracking (Sentry) and company logos (logo.dev, which your browser contacts directly).

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, under the safeguards provided by the GDPR (such as standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

Audience measurement uses Umami, hosted on our own servers: no cookies, no personal data.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept as long as your account is open and deleted on request. Billing records are kept as long as French accounting law requires. Error reports are kept for a limited time by Sentry.
